Oksana Grigorieva files appeal to disqualify Mel Gibson's lawyer

Washington, June 9: Russian singer, Oksana Grigorieva has filed an appeal to a California judge seeking the disqualification of Mel Gibson's lawyers from their custody cases.
Grigorieva, who has a 20-month-old daughter Lucia with the troubled star, had met with Ronald Anteau at Gibson's suggestion when she was dealing with custody issues regarding her son Alexander, with actor Timothy Dalton.
She believes that the discussions during their meeting are pertinent to her ongoing dispute with the 'Braveheart' star.
"The matters discussed with Mr. Anteau concerned the same subject matter that has been inquired into in the present case by Stephen Kolodny [Mel's lawyer] both in open court and at deposition," Contactmusic reported the statement as saying.
Although last month a Los Angeles Superior Court Judge ruled that Oksana had waited too long to bring this up, she is asking the appeal court to force the judge to review Anteau's notes of his meeting with her and reconsider the ruling or disqualify the firm outright. (ANI)
