Paula Abdul called 911 on Valentine’s Day

Former ‘American Idol’ judge Paula Abdul called police on Valentine’s Day after she got into an emotional fight with her boyfriend.
The dispute was caught on audio during the call she placed to 911.
Now TMZ.com has obtained the recording, which was taken at 4:35 p.m. on Feb. 14, reports the New York Daily News.
In the recording, Abdul tells the operator she is on the 401 freeway near Santa Barbara, Calif.
“I want out of this car and he won’t let me,” Abdul cries.
As the operator asks the singer for more info, Abdul can be heard asking her boyfriend, “Are you going to drop me off because I have emergency on the phone?”
“He’s dropping me off,” Abdul breathlessly says just before the recording – which is about 50 seconds long – cuts off.
Officers later spoke with Abdul, who reportedly said she had had a verbal argument, and a police report was unnecessary, TMZ said.
“Arguments with loved ones are often times heated. After the call was made everything was worked out,” Abdul’s rep said.
However, the boyfriend was not named in the 911 call or identified by the website. (ANI)
