It's all about his work opposite The Killing's Mireille Enos, who plays Mr. Pitt's wife in World War Z.
And guess who we met for the first time the other day at the Critics' Choice Television Awards? Yup, Ms. Enos. While we didn't talk about her television series' controversial cliffhanger, we did get to chattin' about Brad.
Like Jessica Chastain had the pleasure of doing in The Tree of Life, Enos gets to lock lips with Angie's main man, too.
"There is a goodbye kiss, but no love scenes," Enos said. "Everybody is like, 'You have to take notes on that.'"
Um, that certainly doesn't sound like Enos' style. "It's just going to be another day at work," the redheaded beauty smiled. "He's the sweetest, loveliest guy."
She'll film with Pitt later this summer in London. (FYI: She'll probably have about a month of vacation before The Killing resumes shooting in November).
While the flick is about a zombie epidemic (Pitt plays a journalist trying to save his family and figure out what the heck is going on), it's no campy horror flick.
"It's about zombie apocalypse, but then it's also a really smart story about the political structure of the world and what our government does and doesn't deal with when there's a crisis situation," Enos explained. "It's action-packed and it's also super, super dark."

Shia LaBeouf (Finally) Confirms Megan Fox Hookup!

Shia LaBeouf isn't exactly kissing and telling about his time off the set with Megan Fox, but he is confirming their romance.
And you won't believe what he once did to a guy defending her honor.

"Look, you're on the set for six months, with someone who's rooting to be attracted to you, and you're rooting to be attracted to them," he says in the new issue of Details magazine after he apparently nodded "affirmatively" when asked if he and Fox hooked up. "I never understood the separation of work and life in that situation. But the time I spent with Megan was our own thing, and I think you can see the chemistry onscreen."
Whether or not she was involved with her now-husband Brian Austin Green at the time is still unclear. "It was what it was," LaBeouf says.
Despite all of the media attention given to LaBeouf and his bad-boy behavior, at least one major Fox incident never made it into the papers. "[H]e and Megan Fox were at a Taco Bell and the cashier made a rude comment to her and LaBeouf wound up going behind the register and whaling on the guy," according to Details.
Fox's rep declined to comment.
Other highlights of the story (and there are many!) include his admission that he and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen costar Isabel Lucas were "philandering around" during the time he rolled his truck in a late-night accident in L.A., he remains pals with ex Carey Mulligan and he once had dinner with Hilary Duff. "Probably the worst date either of us has ever had," he says.
LaBeouf also criticizes (once again) Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen and Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps.

He doesn't make any apologies for the numerous fights he's gotten into, even if they land him in handcuffs. He says he's an easy target.
"This is not to be comparing myself to [Leonardo] DiCaprio, but I remember the hatred for him when every girl I liked wanted to...," he says before pausing. "It's not extraordinary envy, like Robert Pattinson fan-worship s--t, but I do feel animosity from men. They feel like they want to challenge me. 'I just f--ked up Shia LaBeouf!' It's a story you can tell, and I guess you're cool for it."
But ya may want to think twice before instigating something with Mr. LaBeouf—just ask the dude at Taco Bell.

Jersey Housewives' Melissa Gorga: I Am Not a Gold Digger, Capisce?

Melissa Gorga is not a money-hungry monster.
And, the Real Housewives of New Jersey star says, her enemy-in-law Teresa Giudice knows this.
"When I hear her call me pretty much a gold digger, it's like putting a knife in my heart and twisting it, because I know that she knows that's not true," Melissa told me yesterday when she stopped by E! during her first trip to Los Angeles.
Gorga offers up some pretty convincing proof...

"Joe and I have been married for seven years and have three kids," Melissa explained. "We went through a time where we couldn't even buy diapers. We had to sell every house we lived in...Did I go anywhere? Would I ever? No. It hurts me that she would even put that out there, to put that in someone's head. And it doesn't even hurt me as bad as it hurts her brother."
Melissa insists things haven't always been so bad between her and Teresa. "Before the show came around, Teresa and bumped heads, but we always worked it out," she said. "It wasn't like we hated each other. We'd always be in the same rooms, but we never were best friends. You know, some people just don't click."
This Sunday's episode includes footage of them trying to talk things out. No surprise, but nothing was really resolved. "It's not her fault," she said of Teresa. "It's everyone's fault. What's so funny is everyone thinks most of the problem is between Teresa and I and it's not," she said. "It's between Joe and Teresa. I'm caught in the middle. The issues that Teresa and I have are ridiculous."
But hey, all the craziness has been worth it because Melissa has that singing career she's trying to launch. "The best part of being on the show is everything that's going on with the music," she says. "I can't deny it. It's put it to another level." (FYI: Her first single, "On Display," drops next month.)
She's also taking a page out of the Ramona Singer playbook. "I have a champagne that I'm coming out with," Melissa said. "It's called Magnifica Giornata and it stands for 'magnificent day.' It's like a motto, 'Every day's a magnificent day.'"
Not counting the day of her son's christening, of course.

Selena Gomez Meets Shia LaBeouf: Should Justin Bieber Be Worried?

Selena Gomez has finally met the man of her dreams.
And he's not Justin Bieber...

Gomez posted a video on YouTube last night that showed her meeting longtime celebrity crush Shia LaBeouf backstage at a television studio. The 18-year-old starlet came face-to-face with the Transformers bad boy, 25, for the first time after her handlers sneakily told her she was simply going to meet some fans in a dressing room.
"Oh my gosh," Gomez said when she saw LaBeouf, before quickly turning around and rushing out of the room.
"Hey, nice to meet you," LaBeouf said after running after her. "Hey, how are you? How you doin'? Thanks for being so sweet to me. You're really sweet to me."
A flustered Gomez told the actor, "I admire you." They took a couple of photos together before Gomez shuffled away into another room. "He's so cute," she said to her mom. "He's so handsome."
"I am so embarrassed," she added. "I walked right out."
LaBeouf's publicist, Melissa Kates, insists she had nothing to be red-faced about. "That's actually nice and refreshing to see somebody that genuine," Kates said. "Trust me, he likes it."
Can't help but wonder if the Biebster is also going to like it once he sees the video, especially after Gomez tweeted a link to it with the message, "Best...Day...Ever."
Gomez's crush on LaBeouf goes way back. In October 2008, a then-single Gomez shouted once shouted to reporters on a red carpet, "Let Shia know I'm available!"

Miley Cyrus & Liam Hemsworth Back On, but Does Billy Ray Approve?

We're so lovin' that Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are back together.
The singer and the Aussie hunkster were most recently spotted this weekend shopping in Sydney. He reportedly took a break from filming The Hunger Games in the U.S. to visit her while she's on tour Down Under.
While this relationship has seen its on days and off days, Miley's dad, Billy Ray, is pretty clear on how he feels about Mr. Hemsworth. Read on to find out what Papa Cyrus just told me…

"He's a great guy," Billy Ray said when he stopped by E! today to promote his new album, I'm American (out June 28). "He's solid. He's got great character."
No surprise, Billy Ray is all for Hemsworth as Gale Hawthorne in The Hunger Games. "Have you read that script?" he asked. "The script is killer, and Liam is going to knock it out of the park. He's a tremendous talent.
"And I have to tell you, on or off the record, he's just a good guy," he added. "He's just a really good guy. I really like him a lot."
Can't ask for better parental approval than that, can ya?
Billy Ray also revealed he wouldn't mind some more Hannah Montana in his life. "You know, there's wonderful buzz right now for a prequel to Hannah Montana," he smiled. "I know Miley couldn't step back and be that little girl, but I could get my mullet back real quick."
Sounds like the perfect project for the Billy Ray and Tish's youngest daughter, 11-year-old Noah Lindsey. Just sayin'.
It's not like the "Achy Breaky Heart" singer doesn't have plenty on his plate already. In addition to the new Stars & Stripes-infused album, he continues his decades-long mission to support the troops with Surprise Homecoming, a TLC series he hosts about American troops reuniting with their families that premieres on July 11.
"I do think I have accepted a bit of responsibility for our troops," said Cyrus, whose recording career was launched in 1992 with "Some Gave All," a hit song in honor of Vietnam vets. "I feel like I can be a voice. I can be a voice for our veterans and I'll carry that torch to the best of my ability. [Surprise Homecoming] helps me take a step closer to fulfilling my purpose. Part of that purpose is saying thanks and making sure the troops get the recognition that they deserve."

"Kourtney, Kim and I, we're gonna, because he got his ears pierced, maybe go in on a pair of diamond studs," Khloé Kardashian Odom told us yesterday while promoting the Nivea Good-bye Cellulite, Hello Bikini! Challenge. "We're like, we need to jazz him up a little bit. We gotta get him a little diamond action going on. But we don't know if that's too girly."
Fans of KUWTK know that Jenner tried to prove he was hip to the family last season by getting a new haircut, nightclubbing with Rob and yes, getting his ears pierced.
"Robert wears diamond studs," she added. "Bruce makes fun of Rob for wearing them, so we don't know if that's a good present or not."
As for this weekend's Father's Day festivities, Khloé says it won't be a big Kardashian family blow out.
"I asked Bruce what he wants to do and he's like, 'just play golf,'" she said. "So I might watch Kendall and Kylie for him while he goes to play golf. He's the easiest person. He doesn't care."

But the 34-year-old actor insists his fine physique is just part of his job. "If Alcide was described as weighing 300 pounds with a comb-over and missing his front teeth, that's what I would look like," he tells the mag.
Luckily, that isn't the case.
"Once they yell action, you're a werewolf and you're not thinking about it," he says of stripping down. "But before, there's a boom guy crouched behind you at ass level."
How do we get that job?
